Former Outpatients Building
This building is the only remnant of the 55 Military Camp Hospital constructed by the Australian Military Force in 1942.
After its decommissioning as a war hospital it became the outpatients section of the Tennant Creek Hospital until 1978.
It was restored by the Trust and opened as Museum showcasing the history of the Barkly Region.
It also houses a unique archive of material relating to the life of Tennant Creek.
It is open to the public from May to September for two hours a day, Monday to Friday.
