Old Police Station Museum

The old police station houses a museum telling many stories of occupation, administration and mining in the Gulf Region. Dating from 1886 the building is the oldest surviving example of an outpost police station in the Territory. The volunteers of the Gulf Branch manage the museum, which is open to the public from May to September each year.
